Hmm. these things are always relative, aren’t they? I find STC, Griffin, Belvoir and Darlinghurst expensive, but programs at Carriageworks, esp. Performance Space’s, much cheaper. Anyway, I’m just disappointed, as it means you haven’t seen any of our work for the last 3 years at least! This must be corrected!

It’s true! I think very believable- I am more likely to follow a venue’s programming if I think that I would want to work there and the tricky thing for me is that as a pokey little space practitioner – I found Carriageworks to be too huge, too expensive and too intimidating as an audience member (I have done site inspections/ seen installations there)… but forgive me- I am self educating and I’m slowly growing up- and the unfortunate fact of the matter is- you can’t see everything… not even 4-shows-a-week me!

The first time you’ve seen theatre at Carriage Works?? You’ve missed 3 years of great (and sometimes not so great) work then. Unbelievable!
