In my car- my much loved mustard yellow 1980 Toyota Corona, affectionately known as “Golden Oldie”- I headed down the Princes Highway at a respectable speed- White Zombie crackling through the stereo. Ah Zombies. I must admit- have a soft spot for Zombies- In fact, I kind of admire them: They know what they want and they won’t let being dead get in their way of acheiving it. Superperfect| Shopfront Theatre


This is an audience note to TJ Eckleberg. So often in programs we have director’s notes, notes on the hopes and aims or aspirations of the project. The audience is the receives all these ideas through the program notes and the performance, and yet often do not communicate their thoughts, reactions or responses to the work beyond applause.
